E Verification question regarding STEM OPT

Hi,

I am an ECE grad student who is currently on post completion OPT. Upon getting OPT i joined a company which was not then e verified. Later when i told them about STEM extension requirements they applied for E verification and gave me the E verification details for STEM extension requirements. My question is it alright for my employer to obtain E verification after I've joined them or should my employer need to have E verification prior to me joining them?
Is them obtaining the e verification after I joined them going to cause any problems when it comes to processing of my STEM application?

You are all good I was having a similar query And one of my friend has also done the the same i.e. His company got e-verified when he needed e-verify number and his Stem Ext was also approved. You are not alone in the situation.
