Stem Opt extension

Hi, my opt end date is July 17 2016 and I applied for 24 months extension on may 24, 2016. I know I applied too late. Is there any chances for rejection as I applied late? Does anyone had the same situation before and what was the result.

It doesn't look like you applied late. You could apply within 90 days before opt end date. I hope this helps.

You are not too late as long as they receive the application before your OPT end date. No chance of Rejection in your case unless you are short of Required documents. Chill!

You need to apply with 60 days after your DSO recommends stem opt aka generating new I20 with 24 months period. You can apply till the last day of your OPT
