I don't know if my employer is E-verified need to apply for OPT-Extension. Please Help
My employer gave me E-verification Company ID which is 6 digit number. But i cannot see my employer name in USCIS employer search tool. They have used e-verify to check my authorization as well. Its been 7 months I am working for them. I want to apply for my OPT Extension. So should I use the same 6 digit number.

You will not find your employer name in the search tool if they recently got E-verified because the database gets updates on a quarterly basis. If you want to make sure that your company is E-verified, call 888-897-7781 and give 6 digit number to them. They will check and let you know.Comment
