Greetings!!
Currently I am in initial OPT period. I am working for "ABC" consulting company since Dec 20th 2015.
But "ABC" consulting company processed my January payroll on ABC and February Payroll on "DEF" company(sister's company).And I came to knew about this at the end of month only.
At that time, I didn't get a thought of reporting university.I have updated "ABC" company employer details in My University in December itself.
The question is,
1. Do I need to update the "DEF" company employer details in the University? (it's been more than 2months)
2. And what is the possible reason I could come up with to update in the University. Company ABC and DEF addresses are almost same except suite number. Or else is it good to update university about that both companies are related ?
2. Does this affect on my SEVIS records? or with STEM Opt extension ?
Please help me out. Appreciate your help.
