    How long will it take for them to send the opt card since I need to travel to india..

    I got a document request for my opt extension since I gave wrong everify number. I have sent that document to them... after that how long will it take for them to send the opt card since I need to travel to india...pls reply

    My advice to you is DON'T TRAVEL OUTSIDE USA EVEN WITH THE CARD.

      why travelling under opt is risky if they don't apply for h1b?

        Immigration officers reserve the right to deny you entry even if when u have all the paperwork. People have been denied solely because apparently their OPT job was not directly related to their degree. Better be safe than sorry

          Its risky to travel w/o card. On ur return u should hv valid job letter, I20, visa and EAD.

            Generally it takes less than 2 weeks to get ur card if u hv sent all the docs as per ur RFE.

              But if we are doing work related to our major/study, they will know. Why would they deny?
