hi frens i need some imp information.iam working for XXXXX emloyer for more than a year.i have applied for OPT extension now i got a new offer for full time.so can i change my employer while my extension is pending.do i have an option to change or not.suggestions are really appreciated .Thanx in advance

As long as the new employer is enrolled in eVerify, you can change the employer even when the extension is pending.Originally posted by alekhyat View PostComment

Hi! Yes you can change employers when your STEM extension application is pending. Your STEM extension receipt (when USCIS assigns you a case number) will work as proof of eligibility to work. I had the same scenario. It worked perfectly fine with me. Hope this helps. Good luck!Comment
