STEM OPT RFE for not updating Employer name in SEVIS during OPT

Hi All,

my opt started on July 10th' 15. I updated my employment information which is employer X to DSO on sep 1st' 15(which is within 90 days), then i got new employment with employer Y(which is after 90 days) in November and i updated my DSO with employer Y information.
DSO not updated employer X information in SEVIS. But updated employer Y information in SEVIS.
I applied for STEM OPT recently, will i get any RFE as DSO not updated my employer X information in SEVIS. Only the employer Y information is updated in SEVIS, i started working with employer Y after 90 days of my OPT start date.

Please help me

You might get an RFE. Be ready with evidence of your employment with Employment X.

does ur i20 reflect the new employer name or just the old one? If ur i20 reflects just the employer Y which has a start date after 90 day period then its a problem. USCIS will think that you are employed only after 90 day period. So basically all depends on your stem opt i20.

your dso should contact sevis and update that its his mistake of not updating the sevis with your x employer.I always recommend students when there is a change u should request the updated I 20 from the univ which will act as a proof that the info you pass to the univ reached sevis

I got RFE on My stem OPT extension to provide " Employment History"
I have a question here. I have updated my UNIV DSO that I have employed with XXX employer from 16 FEB 2015 but What my offer letter which I have submitted has is 26 Feb 2015 and also my payroll got started from 26 FEB 2015.I was in project from then. How would I handle this situation. I have a gap of 10 days here (16 FEB - 25 FEB)
And what are all the supporting Documents and reasons that I can provide to get approve of my STEM OPT?
P.s: I'm with same employer and on the project from then(26 FEB 2015)

My initial OPT start date : Feb 9 2015
OPT End date : Feb 8 2016
Right now I'm in 180 days grace period.

get a letter from your employer that you are on unpaid trainning which is a pre requisite to the job company will be paying for the trainning and no salary has been paid for that

What was the employment date given in ur i20 ? Feb 26 or feb 16 ?

After sending my OPT STEM packet to USCIS, DSO updated my previous employer X details in SEVIS. I20 which i included in OPT STEM packet contains only employer Y details. I will get RFE for sure, so my question is will there be any chances of deny?
