OPT Processing 110+ days

Hello People,

I have sent my OPT application on 18th of November 2015 it was received by USCIS on 20th November 2015 and my status is still the same from the day it was received(110+ days now ). I have made a call to USCIS on 16th February 2016 (i.e 88th day after my application was received by USCIS) to file a service request and there is no response for the service request yet. I have lost a job even after getting selected just because I did not recieved my OPT on time. Can you please guide me on how can I proceed with my OPT issue now? Do I just need to wait?

Hello,
I applied for my OPT STEM Extension and USCIS received it on 25th November, 2015. My status is still pending as well and the website only states that "My case was received"
I applied to the Nebraska Service Center. I am told USCIS has been really slow in processing OPT recently. At this point you can only wait. If its been 110 days, you should be getting your OPT very soon.

Dont worry. I got my approved in 154 days.

You might expect it in 2 days. Today 18 November applications were proceeded

Expediting it is an option. You can give reasons like -Loss of Job, Financial problems

Hey, What's the update on your case?
I raised a service request and they said " forwarded to the proper department for further review". Whateverthehellthatmeans!
