Travelling during OPT, when OPT Extension is filed and H1B is Filed and both in Pending Status.
Hi,
I am Sagar, currently working on OPT (Expiration: 34th June 2016), since we have to apply for OPT Extension 3 months prior ill be applying to OPT extension with in a week from now. I will also be applying for H1B Visa this April.
Now the issue is I have a travel plan in mid May and will be back by 25th May.
1. So will it be a problem for me to comeback since my OPT Extension will be in processing and if approved I will not have my new EAD card.
2. Will my H1B Processing get affected due to my travel?, If so how can I avoid it.
3. Will my H1B visa processing cause a problem for me to re-enter since H1B starts only after Oct 1st.
Please help me regarding this, I will be very grateful for your help.
