Can anyone help me when is the right time to apply for OPT?

I am graduating this Aug'16, Can anyone help me when is the right time to apply for OPT? I can do my final semester completely online, so I am confused if I should apply for pre-completion OPT to work from May'16 or should I wait until Aug'16 to start working under Post completion OPT and I do not have STEM extension for MBA course.
Keeping in mind that I should be applying for H1B visa before my OPT expires.

As MBA student, Do I get extension if I am working in a company and my OPT expires?

June... With a starting date in 2nd or 3rd week of nov.... If you have job anything is fine.. Just make sure you give them 90 days to process the case... Good luck
