No sign of OPT even after 96 days

Applied for OPT on 2nd Nov 2015.
Still no update. Might have called USCIS for more than 20 times. Tried to expedite application twice.
I got a job on 11th dec 2015 and lost it because of work authorization. Got another job on 3rd Feb 2016. Lost it again because of same reason.
Enquired about interim EAD, no one has exact idea whether it is issued now.
Is there any way that we can work as OPT application crossed normal processing time of 90 days. If so will there be any problem for our my H1?

I had applied on 7th oct for Stem extension and my opt was ending on 11th jan. I got update of the case on 12th jan that case was approved and recieved my card on 17th jan. So it may take more than 90 days sometimes for case approval or case update. You will probably get an update in 2 weeks. Good luck.

Facing same issue. Requested to expedite the case twice.Now they are asking for more time around 45 days to make decision.Any suggestion?

USCIS no longer issues interim EAD’s. You cannot work until the OPT is approved. Instead of calling, try making an InfoPass appointment and see if they can give you more information. You might want to get the help of a Congressperson or the USCIS Ombudsman.
