Lost passport during opt in process,Ead process will be stopped and chances of f1 stamping getting rejected

Hi,

!!! URGENT HELP REQUIRED!!!
This is regarding lost passport. I have recently graduated and my ead/opt card is still in process, I lost my passport and have all the other i20 , electronic i94, visa copy. If I apply for a new passport,will my ead card get more delayed.Should I inform USCIS people about this and get a new passport in tatkal or apply normally. How long does it take to get a new passport with Indian embassy in Nyc.
I also have doubt if I go to India with my ead card and employment later for f1 stamping on new passport, are they chances of getting rejection.
Please suggest me how to proceed in the situation

I got my passport renewed in 10 days from nyc on normal processing, but it may take 3-4 weeks. Follow their website.
