Selective Service while on OPT

Hey All,
I am currently in my OPT. I recently received a postal mail from Selective Service that I am registered and they gave me a registration number as well. I have never applied for the Selective Service. Is it normal? Is there anything I should do? If so, I plan on calling them to cancel my registration. Please help me with this.

Selective service letter is received randomly when you apply for drivers license etc, I ignored that mail which i received a year ago.

Just call them they will cancel

you need to send it back to return address with copy of your i-94 i believe. the letter will say what to do if you are not eligible for selective service
