regarding travel to india during opt at this point of time

Hello,I planning to travel to india on jan 7 th and planning to return back on feb 7 th. My opt is going to end on jun13th. I have all valid documents including ead card and pay stubs from past 8 months. Can you please let me know if it is safe to travel to india at this point of time cosidering the ongoing deportations of indian students from various universities. Is it too risky even for opt students right now? Is there any chance of my visa being revoked at POE. My point of entry into usa will be dallas airport. Thank you very much

As long as you have a valid visa and properly endorsed I-20 and other required documents, you should be safe to travel. However, it is always SAFEST not to travel.

If you have all employment document as you have done your studies and now you are a ead worker you should be fine..but suggested route is via European countries and less crowded US airport.

I travelled on opt and returned back on last sunday, there was absolutely no problem!
