Travelling to India on STEM Extension

Hi All,

I am planning to go to India from Jan 7 to Jan 31 and my STEM is valid till December 2016 . As we all know a court put stay on STEM extension until February 2016. With the court rule pending is it safe to go ?? Does it also effect the one who already have a valid extension ?? I know no one has a valid answer for this question but I want to know if any one traveled to India recently in the past month or so .

Also,I am currently working for a desi consulting firm which is in Dallas and my client work location is in LA . My employer asked me not to travel through west coast . Did any one face any problems in immigration recently while travelling through west coast ??

usually west coast is not suggestable and if the new rule comes into picture then you will not be allowed into the us as it is going to effect to the existing also .port of entry dallas,phoenix ,atlanta and few other are easy for port of entry.if you fly through abu dabhi that is more safer ethihad i think most students on OPT use
