is 1099 employment a problem for OPT Extension?
Hello all,
I worked for a start up company as an independent contractor for 7 months and I got a full time opportunity in the same company in the month of August. I mailed all my OPT extension documents yesterday, including a letter from my employer with start and end dates as an independent contractor, company address and Job Description.
So, My question is: Are chances that I might get an RFE for my OPT Extension application, as I worked as an Independent Contractor?
Is there anyone who worked as an Independent contractor(1099 Employment) and got their OPT Extension approved?
