Didn't go back to India since 4 years. Will I face troubles in H1 or return if go out of USA?

Hello,

Am came to USA 4 years ago on F1 visa. Am on OPT. Will I face trouble with H1 because of this reason? I may have to go out of usa in couple of months. Will I face trouble while re entering? Please let me know the challenges I might face in any other events like going out of USA , coming back or applying for GC etc, for not staying longer without going out of USA atleast once. Thank you.
