My situation is totally unique, as I am a graduate student who came in 2014 spring and continued my masters till fall December 2014. Then i planned for a vacation to my home country with all the college permission and went to India on 27 of December. And I've paid my college fee from India ($5800 instead I've paid $5000) for next semester(2015 spring my third and final semester) before due date. Because of that $800 less payment they deleted my registered courses and then told me that when you come back re-register your courses with a $100 fine. I said ok for that. Here the actual problem started when I return to United states as Washington is my port of entry they stopped me and sent back to my home country saying that my sevis has been terminated because of my courses deletion. With all the confusion I went back to India. Then my school told me to reapply for I20 and pay my new sevis, then I did. Then I came to United states with out any problem after 7 months(2015 August) and my school considered my 21 credits before which I've completed. Now am taking 9 credits to complte my masters and asusually started applying for OPT. Now the problem has raised, my school ISO saying that " YOU HAD TWO SEVIS(old and new) AND DIFFERENT I20, SO ACCORDING TO FEDERAL RULE STUDENT HAS TO COMPLETE ONE FULL YEAR OF PROGRAM TO ELIGIBLE FOR OPT. YES I HAVE DONE ONE YEAR OF COURSE BEFORE(21 credits). But according to my new sevis am done with only one semester(9 credits). So can I apply and am I eligible for OPT this time.
Please help me in this issue and what would be the solution.
