Have to apply for OPT-Extension and my company is not e-verified

Hi everyone,

My company sponsors h1b but it's not e-verified. I know it's not possible to apply for OPT-Extension without e-verify number. I'm really worried as I have no time. I have to apply for extension no later than 15th November 2015. Have few questions and I really need help.

a) If I ask my employer to get into the e-verify online program, then how many days does it take to get e-verify number?

b)Are there any paperwork my employer has to go through to get into the e-verify program?

c) In case if my employer does not agree to get into e-verify program, then what's the other alternative options?

d) If I join a e-verified company to get OPT extension. And then after getting an extension, would it be possible to switch to my previous or other non-everify company?

Any suggestions? I'm really tensed. Please help !!

it takes just 2 hrs to enroll. Talk to your 'HR. I think there is no reason why would your company say no for getting everified... first talk to them don't presume... there is nothing company would lose by getting everified..
