Hello,i am on initial OPT .I updated my employer details after 90 days of my OPT start Date (15 days late).Will there be any problem for my OPT Extension.Anyone faced this situation ? Please kindly help me out.Thanks in advance

your stem opt will be rejected .what you can do is talk to your DSO and explain him subit your offer later and paystubs .so that he will talk to the sevis and will updateComment

I am in a similar situation. I have had 2 jobs. I reported the first job on time. I have not reported the second one within 10 days which is the required time. The job is of an independent contractor. I have the agreement and letter with me. 60 days have passed and I have not reported. This is more critical I think. How may I handle this?Comment

I have updated my dso saying that mine is an unpaid internship..Will that be a prb..Theres no payroll running at this point..90 days is getting over...Comment

do you have an offer letter stating that you have been working from so and so date update it to the dso and keep proof of these mailsComment

yes i have offer letter(From consulting) and forwarded the same to the dso,and he replied back saying its not mandatory to be in payroll on OPT,we can do unpaid internships also..But am just double checking it with you guys.Thanks.Comment
