OPT and Student Visa

Hi,

I really want to know what does it mean when any company says right to work in the USA that is not absed solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

Does it mean you can't work with OPT?

To whoever asked this question: Explain your problem specifically. Why do you want to study law? (exception only if that is your profession) We are already having a tough time since last 3 months studying it.

If u r opt u r still on student visa. This means u cannot work on student visa (opt) or on h1b via contracting consultancy

it is not any legal term but generally it is for us persons ( gc or citizens). Just ask u r question with that company ..
