Problems with Immigration

Hi Friends,

One of my friend went to India in OPT without a job because of family emergency. Now he is planning to come back to US. Is it necessary to have the offer letter from the employer. Can you tell us the necessary documents that will be asked at the time of immigration and possible scenarios. You help is deeply appreciated.
