Hi all , I have a little problem my OPT started on June 30 as we have 90days to report to the college from the start date I could not do it due to some issues. I reported them last week to update my sevis. I am employed since August and currently in a project. But it totally slipped my mind to update the college. Will this be a major issue or what . I am kind of worried can someone please respond to this ASAP. I spoke to the university and they are like it shouldn't be a problem but they are not 100% sure about it . Can anyone please respond if they have seen any scenarios of this kind . TIA

In future USCIS might ask you to provide that you did get employed within 90 days. So, keep your documents accordingly. The school DSO is suppose to inform USCIS when you report that you got employed during your OPT.Comment

Need urgent suggestion iam working for an employer A.. By mistake i gave his employment identification number instead of e verify no in my univ ..it has been almost 3 months and 1 week back i check and came to know my mistake ..and iam currently working for same employer in chicago..so what i need to do should i update in my univ ..is there going to be any problem for opt extension...should i update in my univ portal as differnt employer again giving same details ..please help me in this regardComment
