OPT Denial

Hi all, my name is Abhi. I have done my masters in CS from NYIT. I orginally got visa on UNH. I came to US on dec 20 2015. the UNH Start Date is on jan 02 2015, i did not registered any courses in UNH. my sevis have transferred from UNH to NYIT on jan 17th. NYIT university start date is on jan 22nd. i have applied for OPT after completing my masters. I got OPT Decision Denial... The decision letter states that as an F1 student, i Got Visa on UNH , if i want to transfer the university i should have taken reinstatement or i should make reentry to USA again for studying. Guys, please let me know if anyone come across this situation. please let me know any attorney who can deal with this sort of cases.

Firstly years which you mentioned are wrong ..you went to future tense

It is not because you have transferred the university, it happened coz you were out of status from Jan 2nd till 17th.

Could you clearly mention the start date and end date of your masters. Also the start date of your OPT. Also how many credits and semesters have you completed in NYIT..?

" i have applied for OPT after completing my masters." <-- you mention this that you applied for OPT after completing MS you have to apply for OPT 90 days before completing your MS

You could also apply for OPT after graduation but before 60th day after graduation.

Firstly this is a fake question .. He came on dec 20th 2015 and transferred to NYIT on Jan 17th .. Let us hope its is Dec 20th 2014 even then he cannot complete his maters in 9 months in NYIT and apply for OPT beofre one year and the most important thing is still no one started applying to opt yet for this fall semester
