Can I work for two different employers (40hrs/week and 20hrs/week) on OPT?

Hi,

I am currently working as a full time employee for company A, I got an offer to work for company B to work on 1099 for certain hours.Can i accept this offer? Is this legal?
Please advice.

You can 1) work for as many employers as you want or 2) start your business (es) or 3) start your business(es) and work for any number of employers . But everything should be related to your field of study. On pre-completion OPT, you cannot work more than 20 h/w. If you are on post-completion OPT, you must work minimum of 20 h/w (there is no restriction on maximum number of hours you can work on post completion OPT). Can you prove that not more than 40hours / week. Cos I think that's wrong. It's not less than 20hours / week

You can work for as many employers you want as long as you work minimum 20 hours per week and do not exceed 40 hours per week.
