OPT EAD card with last part of first name as middle initial

For some reason USCIS has printed the last part of my first name as an initial in the OPT EAD card.

For ex :

Actual First Name: ABC DEF XYZ

Printed First Name: ABC DEF X

The last name has been printed correctly.

Also, at the back side, the last character of the last part of the first name has not been printed (only XY) . This , however, looks like lack of space issue.

Would this be a problem for starting employment or at port of entry when I travel ?

Please give your valuable opinion.

My first name is xxx, and I had the same issue. Didn't affect my employment. But I'd suggest you ask for a name correction if it's not a hassle.

Don't get into trouble by applying for name change, it takes around 60days ... It doesn't matters as long as your photo, case number, last name and part of first name is printed correctly .... If you name is completely wrong then it's a problem but I think your are good now.. They have character limitation, so that is the reason all the bigs names have some or the other issue

I had same issue. I have sent my card back to uscis there took one month for approval again. But if you won't change it won't affect your employment but it might be problem in future at some point. Try to clear it, in starting only.

It will never be a problem as long as your last name and first part of your first name and photo is matching
