Does Housing credit history impact OPt extension?

Hi All

I left an apartment in USA before six months and never got my deposit back (approx. $500), instead landlord charged me $200 for painting the apartment, I am still negotiating them about my deposit but meanwhile I have applied for OPT extension. Does anyone know if this will impact my credit history and if yes, will that have any bad impact on my OPT extension?
