First OPT Rejected. Can I apply for OPT with a second Master degree?

I gained my first Master's Degree several years ago, I applied for OPT but it was rejected because of fund deficiency. I received the denial letter and gave up to reapply for it.

Now I am in a second Master Program. I am wondering can I apply for OPT this time? Will they deny my OPT again because of the denial record?

you can apply opt again its not going to be a problem if you follow all the conditions required they will definetly give you good luck

I believe yes because you have not exhausted the OPT period that you are eligible for

You were denied so you cannot get another OPT at masters level. You can apply only if you withdrew your application which you did not.

Hello, I'm more or less in the same boat here. My OPT got denied because my DSO didnt mention my OPT start and end date on the first i20 I sent. And the reason for denial was that my second i20 with the start and end dates was not received by them within the 30 days from the date they received my i765 form. So, I'm thinking of doing a second masters at the same university and I'm about to get the admission. But like you said, do I have to withdraw my first OPT application now so that when I apply for it again after I complete my second master's degree, it wont be any problem? Also is there any restrictions when I'll apply for OPT after second master's, I'll have to apply it on the basis of my second degree only? Or I can apply it on basis of my first degree also? Please reply to these questions!!!
