Grace period after STEM

Hi,
My h1 was rejected this year. I have my STEM OPT till december 2015.
1. After last day of STEM OPT, is there any grace period to work officially
2. if yes, for how many days one can officially work after STEM expires.
Please help.

There is a grace period for you to stay in the U.S., but you cannot work. You must stop working on the last day of your OPT.

Ideally speaking you are not suppose to work after the opt expire but can stay or change your status with in 60 days

After the end date of you OPT there is NOT a grace period for work, you should not work after this date. You will have a 60 day grace period to enroll into a new program, Sullivan University, I a an International Admissionsm Officer there ight be able to help you with enrolling into another program, we have a few programs that would require you to gain work experience while studing that might intrest you, please message me if you or any one else would like for me to give them more information.

How did you know that your application was rejected? Have you actually seen the paper sent from the CIS?
