payroll while STEM-extension is under review

I was working on my OPT - applied for STEM extension some 90 days back. I just received the update from USCIS to provide some additional documents. But for this month, I dont have a valid EAD card now and my company is gonna run my payroll by the end of the month. Can i still receive my payroll while my EAD card application is under the review?
I would very much appreciate any information on this. Thank you very much.

OPT holders are authorized to continue working for 180 days after expiration of their OPT as long as the STEM extension is pending. See: http://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/...nce_042010.pdf, Sec. 8.4.2, page 28.

yes you can work until the decision is made on your application.
