How big of a risk is it to travel to India and return with just 15-20 days of F1 visa left.

Hi,

I am currently on Post OPT. I would like to travel to India from August 15-27 but my visa expires in second week of september 2015. I know that technically i can enter the US even 1 day prior to visa expiration date. But as i will be travelling at such a close date to my visa expiration, i wanted to know what all the issues i may face during immigration?

There should be no issues. Just make sure you enter before the visa expires, and carry all the required documents (endorsed I-20, your OPT card, proof of employment/offer letter, and pay stubs) with you.

yes dallas is safe and many other port of entry's are also safe except in Chicago sometimes they question...
