Hi all,

I'm graduating unexpectedly in this summer Aug 7 2015. So I applied for my opt on july 21st with my start date on Aug 27.
I have a job offer just today july 25 received my offer letter, and they want me to start working on august 17th. So, is there anyway to expedite my process. Please let me know the process. I have applied to the texas center.
Any information in this regards is much helpful.

I have few more questions:
1) Since i'm summer graduating, considering the fact that not many graduate in summer, Do you think that the opt could be approved quicker than normal?
2) Filing for financial loss and humanitarian could help me?

I tried the financial emergency and contacted the congressman in Dallas to help expedite my application, I was declined and 78 days later my appln was approved and card has just been mailed after around 85 days.

I gave them a letter from my sponsor in India saying my funding was going to be stopped immediately too.

I'm not sure if someone else was successful.

There is no way they will expedite before 70 days of filling an application
