Hello everyone. I Have question, I applied for my Opt and i put my start date as October 7th 2015, Can I apply For SSN now ?(Before getting Opt card). Hoping To see the Response. Thank You.

yes you can... I did it for me.. Go to SSN office. tell them you will be legalized to work. they will verify your visa status, give you one letter of confirmation and get it in about 2 weeks.. make sure you take ur i 20 with OPT recommendation on it.Comment
