USCIS Website show not e verified , but consultancies insist they are

Hi,

I have a question, I am a F1 student and would be looking for OPT jobs in the near future but Most of the consultancies I encounter don't show as e verified on http://www.uscis.gov/e-verify/about-...rs-search-tool , but the claim that they are e verified responding with their e verify number.
Is uscis website not regularly updated ? or are these consultancies not e verified ?

If a company is wholly owned by another company and the parent company is eVerified, that works too. If it's neither, then the company is not eVerified!

The USCIS tool only lists companies with 5 or more employees
