Travel During STEM

Hello all. I have a question regarding travel during STEM Extension. My STEM is valid till October 2016. I am planning a trip to India in December 2015. I recently renewed my passport here and have a New passport with me..My old passport is expired but still has a Valid F1Visa in it. My question is :

1) Will there be any issues since i don't have a VISA in new passport when I will return to US?

2) Any additional docs i need to carry ?

1. No, but you MUST travel with the new passport and the old passport containing the visa stamp. Don’t try to get a new stamp in your new passport.
2. Whatever docs you normally need to travel while on OPT (STEM OPT Card, job letter, pay stubs, and travel-endorsed I-20).

1) carry your old passport that is fine and travel 1 20 client letter ,employer letter 3 recent paystubs 2) no issues

No there won't be any problem since the visa is still valid even if your passport is expired. Just remember to show both of them at the counter.
2) carry your opt card, opt i20, work experience letter stating that u are an employee of the company and you will continue to work after you come back. The letter should be dated close to.your journey date.
