made a Error in I 765 question 11

i have sent my I-765 for opt extension on June 24th, but recently i found i have typo error in my application,in question 11 date column instead of using 08/072014 i put 08/07/2015, what are my options now do i have to send a new package or send an amended i765 after i receive receipt, if i send the amended i765 after expiry date will they deny the application for late submission. or i heard calling the uscis customer care to fix the error after the receipt and i have only 10 more days for my current EAD expiry. can i know my options plz?

By looking at the copy of the EAD/OPT card you sent, they will most likely see that you made the error. It is unlikely to affect your application.

Track your package, if you have tracking number
And I believe you will be eligible to work for 180 days after your first opt complete and waiting stem approval.
And don't be out of status, once you lose OPT, it's gone
