  • Looking for various study options on H4 visa

    Hi,

I am currently staying in USA in Denver, Colorado on H4 visa. Now I am looking for the list of universities or colleges in Denver that offers the masters program in computer science who don't need GRE as a mandate for the admissions.
Also, I need to know if these universities or colleges provide the OPT/CPT during my course with valid I-20,so that I can work during my course.

Could you please help me with the list of such a universities or colleges in Denver , Colorado.

On H4, if u are in the US for more than 2 yrs, and have work experience from India, few colleges wnt ask for GRE/TOFEL scores. You can study part time/full time on H4 and are eligible for unpaid internships. But if u want to be utilize the CPT or OPT, u have to change to F1.

most private and even some public colleges do not ask for GRE , and there are 1000s of private colleges in each states , however most of them ask for proof of english proficiency , you have to take US IELTS or TOEFL or give english proficiency test there in university , just understand GRE is to rank a student's potential and not required by law so optional , while Toefl/ielts is required by law , you need to be on F1 to get OPT or CPT , search department of education database for accreditated schools in your area , remember to check regional accreditation

You can't work joining an OPT college while studying, however CPT college has such option. Mostly all of the CPT colleges do not ask for GRE.

Are there any CPT colleges which offer online courses and which don't require a person to be present at the University/college (like some do need the student to attend once in a week) ?

I don't think so or at least I haven't heard of any. Should see the school at least once in a month for most of the colleges that I know.
