I called the customer service number & they told me that they are getting the same error and my case is still pending.

My current OPT expires on June 23 2015. I tried reaching my college and they are not giving me proper information.

    My Question is:
    1. I know there is a work period of 180 days in case My status is still in pending . Is this TRUE ?

    2. Should i Contact the USCIS regrading the 180 Day work period And who all should i inform about it.
    3. As i did my bachelors here So i have enroll for masters are there any university that give CPT from day 1 ?
    1. Yes, you can continue working for up 180 days after your OPT expiration date while the OPT Extension is pending.
    2. There’s no need for that. Check here.
    3. It may be wise to stay away from institutions that are giving CPT from Day 1. USCIS has been looking at these schools and are giving those filing for H-1B’s trouble because they have worked on CPT from the first day.
