Hi,
I am Shikha Duttyal. I have graduated On May 8, 2015. I applied for OPT on March 17th 2015. USCIS received it on March 20, 2015 and they claim of sending the receipt to me on March 27th 2015, which was never received. The date of joining on my EAD application and my actual date of joining with my employer is June 22, 2015. Till now I have not received a single notification on my case (not even seen the receipt to see if my personal details are printed correctly). I have called USCIS to raised an expedite two weeks back but did not receive any update. I called them on June 3, 2015 when my case went out of the normal processing time period and they again raised a service request saying that with in a few days to a week I would receive a response. I called them again today saying that it has been a week since I raised a service request but yet did not receive an update, so the agent told me that they can do nothing but to wait for 30 days with in the service request being raised. I have absolutely no clue on why my case is taking so much time and what I should do as my date of joining with my employer is June 22. The earliest appointment with USCIS InfoPASS is also available after June 22.
Please suggest what should I do in my case. Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated.
