Not selected for H1b lottery

Hello,

I am on F-1 OPT and my OPT is expiring in November 2016. My wife is a Green Card holder and I am going to file my Green Card soon. My employer has applied for my H1b visa but haven't received anything from USCIS. I am assuming that I am not going to get H1b anymore. I just read somewhere that I can get admitted to some universities I can join and get CPT from 1st day. Please suggest me other alternatives or the universities name if possible.

Yes, there are 1000 of people who are in similar situation like you - even myself.

There are few school all over the country who can give you CPT from day 1. I am doing my Masters with ITU which is located in San Jose, CA who will give you CPT I20 with which you can work as well as go to school at the same time. But keep in mind, some of us just think that you don't even have to go to classes and just pay the tuition and you will get your I20 to work. This is a complete misconception those days are over and I am kind of glad it did because if you are paying for your school you rather get something out of it.

There is another school I heard of in East coast called - Goldey-Beacom College.

But I shall warn you if you do go ahead with these school, your chances of RFE from USCIS is 95% to 98%!
