OPT STEM Extension

Hi,

I completed my course work by Fall 2014 and started working under post-completion OPT from March 2015. But, my school later said I need to do another course and since I got the EAD card by the time they informed me, they said they will add that course to Fall 2014 semester. But, officially I will be graduating in Spring 2015. Now, I am worried if this will be create any problem during my OPT Extension and H-1 B filing?
Can you please advice on how to proceed and how much it may affect my Visa status ?

It shouldn’t be a problem. Just remember that according to the regulations, you are not supposed to work more than 20 hours a week if you are taking classes. It’s not clear that you are excused from this regulation just because they are putting the class into the Fall semester.
