How many days it takes to get the OPT Extension receipt number?

Hello EveryOne,I have send my OPT 17 month Extension packet to USCIS on April 24th 2013 to the USCIS. It's been 2 weeks now. I still didn't get my receipt number to track my status. My friends who send the packet 2 days later to my date got the receipt number in 1 week. Also, I called USCIS to know my status whether they received my packet or not they said they dont know. But, the 380$ was deducted from my account by the USCIS.

So, I'm worried how many days it usually takes to get the receipt ? so, If In worst case what I need to do further?

have u given ur ph number or email id for updates

if not then u will receive mail within 7 to 10 business days

If you sent a check to USCIS for filing fees and USCIS cashed your check (so you know your OPT extension was receipted in), then you should be able to go to your bank account online and look at an image of the back of the check to see the receipt number.
