stem opt period extension to more than 29 months

Hi Friends,
I have heard new that there are plans to extent the actual 29 months period of OPT, yet the Obama administration has not announced anything official.Just want to know if this news is real and if it is real, how long they are planning to extent total opt period(29 months). Please share if anybody knows any latest info on this.Thank You.

It is still unclear the duration of opt extension , it is rumored that it's 5 years , nothing is promised , don't go with my words either , Google Obama opt , you'll get some info

I know about this executive action and I am closely following it. Just wanted to know where 5 years has been promised, thats all. No worries.

I think it's extra 1 year they are planning to expand.....even I am hearing it first time about 5 years

I think Obama asked homeland security department to work on it....on Jan 2015.....hopefully this bills passes before next year
