    Hello,
    I am on OPT currently and will be filing for STEM extension very soon.
    The trouble i am having is that my company was not E-verified at the time of my employment and became e-verified afterwards. Hence, the hiring date when they signed me in as an employee in the e-verification website remained the same.
    Apparently, verifying the employees whose hire date precedes the date the company signs for E-verification is not allowed according to the notice my company got after some days.
    Could you please let me know whether it is going to hinder my chances of getting STEM extension. If yes, what can be the solution?

        It shouldn’t hinder your STEM extension application. All that matters is that the company is E-Verified as of the date you apply for the extension.

          you should be working on e verified company on stem extention but i dont think its a rule to work on initial opt

            No worries just take a supporting letter from your employer with e-verified number mentioned

                1 nay dont worry u r fine.. For opt ext rule u need to work for everified employer .. It does not ask u for u r case is verified are not ..
