EAD card expiration date

Hi DesiOpt,
I see that you everyone doing a great job answering so many people's questions in this forum.
I wonder if someone could clarify me something.

My question is regarding EAD card expiration date.
My Graduation Date: [B]12/23/2014[/B]

I20 OPT request date is from [B]2/21/2015 to 2/20/2016.[/B] (Applied within 60 days from graduation)
But, in my EAD card, it is valid from [B]4/3/2015 to 2/22/2016[/B]. (4/3/2015 is approval date)
My question here is, Why my expiration date in EAD card is different from one I requested in my I20?

And also I know that EAD card expiration date (2/22/2016) is exactly 14 month after my graduation. (I checked here in this site page 12 - http://tinyurl.com/my62ptp)

So, is there any problem to be addressed?

I encounter the same situation also! I applied 40 days after graduation so uscis automatically took 2 months from my time period. They give the date when they process the EAD card. They don't really care about the date school recommends!

as i told you over chat .. end date can be 12 months from start date or 14 months from grad date which ever is earlier
