laid off on OPT when H1B is in process

Hi,
I am currently on opt which ends on may 30th. I used to work for a big oil company based in Houston, Texas as a Mechanical Engineer. My company applied for h1b on master's cap. I got laid off today due to oil down turn. I have not applied for stem extension as my company is not everified. So what are all my options? My company is probably going to cancel my h1b application if it gets picked up in the lottery as I'm not in the company any more.

Your only real option is to find an E-verified employer ASAP and file that STEM extension.

Apply for Extension from an E-Verified Employer or take an i20 from another University and do 2nd masters or look for 1st DAY CPT from an Accredited University...
