  • Ignoring OPT RFE (Request for Evidence), Will it be an issue in future?

I had applied for my OPT EAD card long time ago and on 27-Apr-2013 I received an RFE (request for evidence). I have decided to take admission in 2nd masters in summer 2013 session and to work on CPT. If I don’t respond to RFE (RFE for OPT EAD card) and take admission in 2nd masters and work on CPT, so there will be any problem in future when I apply for H1B?
    Please do respond asap.

You wont be eligible for a new opt in future!! you can get a new opt if you go for phd!!

No use of joining second masters .. Because Ur not eligible for getting opt again in the same level of degree . In ur case ..u applied for opt in 1st masters.... Even though if u didn't use 1st masters OPT.. still u will be having issues if you apply opt after u r second masters .. Instead .. Submit the documents for RFE ..and try to sort it out..and coming to H1-B it is nothing to do with OPT..as long as Ur documentation is right ...
