Applied for interim EAD but no response till date.. Please help

Hi All,
I applied for OPT on October 29 and received RFE on January 13 for which I have sent all required documents on February 4.

I called USCIS on February 17 and raised service request to expedite my case and request for interim EAD. On February 18, I received email notification
"your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number XXXXXXXXXXXX, was completed."

But till date (February 26), I have not received anything from USCIS.
Can anyone please answer my following question:
1. Whether my request for interim EAD has been approved? If yes, how long it takes to receive interim EAD card?
2. What are my next steps if my request for interim rejects?
3. How long it takes to process my actual application of RFE after requesting for expedite?

Please note that I have applied to California Center and have send all my RFE to Laguna Niguel.
Will highly appreciate your response. Please help!!

i think you need to apply interim EAd if uscis didnot make any decision after january 29 but you gota decisoin ie RFE before jan 29 3) that depends on case to case how many questions are their in rfe if it is 1 or 2 usaully in a month or two you will get I have seen cases where it took upto 6 months to clear rfe

Interim ead is only for gc ead not for opt ..

3 generally 2-4 weeks
