guidance on selection of consultant

Firstly, this is a great website for all kinds of info on opt and h1b and i really want to thank everyone with all their responses and help.

My concern is mostly to do with selecting a consultant for a job. I was wondering if you guys can suggest some good consultants in the finance domain as i am very interested in finance and have my background in finance and want to proceed in that direction. How do you find out which consultancy provides jobs in which domain? I read the excellent document posted here about the key things to look out for while selecting a consultant but am not sure where to start looking.

also i have double masters degree in business and finance and wanted to find out if the consultants would sponsor for H1B before even starting the job since otherwise i get only one chance for getting selected in the H1b lottery?

any kind of guidance or help will be greatly appreciated!
