OPT Approved With One Course Left

Hi all,


1. My graduation was scheduled for the 2014 fall semester ,unfortunately i scored an "F" Grade which decreased my G.P.A hindering me to graduate.Hoping everything goes smoothly i even applied for OPT. On the January 12th i requested for OPT withdrawal. Later that week my OPT was approved.
My advisor suggested me to do one course and graduate in may 2015. Is it ok if my OPT is approved with one course left ??
2.My concern is should i cancel my OPT or should i leave it till i graduate this semester and later start applying for jobs.
3.Will the be any issue with my SEVIS.

Please suggest the best possible ways to get through this situation

First, if you applied for Withdrawal, check with your advisor to see the status of your SEVIS record. Make sure your OPT is still valid.
You can take the makeup class and keep your OPT. You should find a part-time job (20 hours a week) because now that your OPT is approved, any time you are not working is counting towards your 90 days of unemployment limit.
